1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using Orecot, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Orecot for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
2. The service
Orecot provides AI-assisted interview practice, live transcription and conversation support, saved interview feedback, and career-planning tools. Features can differ by platform, plan, language, and device capability.
You are responsible for your account information, credentials, devices, and activity performed through your account. Notify Orecot through the support center if you believe an account or device has been compromised.
3. Recording and interview responsibility
You are responsible for telling participants when audio is captured or transcribed and for obtaining every consent required by applicable law, workplace policy, interview rules, and platform terms.
Do not use Orecot to misrepresent your identity or qualifications, evade an employer's or interviewer's stated rules, or capture confidential information without authorization. Orecot does not join a call, notify other participants, or decide whether your use is permitted.
Use Orecot only where recording, transcription, screen capture, and AI assistance are allowed. Interview practice with Orecot's virtual interviewer does not involve another human participant.
4. Plans, minutes, and billing
Plan prices, included minutes, feature access, and billing intervals are shown on the Pricing page and at Stripe Checkout. Usage begins when Orecot creates an authorized metered session and is measured according to the active plan.
Paid subscriptions renew for the selected billing interval until canceled. A cancellation requested from the dashboard is scheduled for the end of the current billing period. Stripe processes payments, invoices, taxes, and payment-method information. Rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain unaffected.
5. Your content
You retain the rights you already hold in resumes, profiles, job materials, interview content, audio, transcripts, screenshots, saved answers, and other content you provide.
You grant Orecot a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, process, format, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support the service or comply with law. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required to provide the content.
6. AI-generated output
Transcripts, answers, interview questions, scores, reports, resume analysis, cover letters, and other AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for your situation. Review important facts and decisions before relying on or sharing output.
Orecot output is not legal, medical, financial, employment, or other professional advice and should not be the sole basis for a consequential decision.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Orecot to break the law, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, harm or deceive others, distribute malware, access another account, probe or bypass security and usage controls, overload the service, resell it as your own service, or interfere with Orecot or its providers.
8. Third-party services
Orecot depends on providers including Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe, Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare, and Google. Your use of a third-party account, payment method, or service is also subject to that provider's terms. Orecot does not control a provider's independent availability or actions.
9. Changes, suspension, and termination
Orecot may change features, plans, limits, or availability. Access may be restricted or terminated for a material breach, unlawful use, payment failure, security risk, abuse, or conduct that threatens users, providers, or the service.
You may stop using Orecot at any time, cancel a paid subscription from the dashboard, and request account-data deletion through support. Provisions that naturally continue after termination remain in effect.
10. Service limitations
Orecot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Orecot disclaims implied warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude.
11. Changes and contact
Orecot may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated, and additional notice will be provided when appropriate. Continuing to use Orecot after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
For questions about these terms, open the Help Center or submit a ticket from the signed-in Orecot support center.
